This week’s theme was based on ‘ The Hospital’. Pupils made name tags , plasticine patients, pretended to be doctor’s and patients, used water and various utensils to make medicine and even constructed a hospital from bricks. Even though there were some very serious injuries, everybody enjoyed this theme. Our future is in great hands!!

We are taking part in a competition called Sow & Grow. The competition is sponsored by Innocent Ireland and is operated in association with GIY Ireland. The project encourages children to grow their own vegetables to help them better understand where their food comes from.

After learning about different important figures of the 1916 rising, the children were asked to imagine themselves as one of these people and to write diary entries from their viewpoints describing the events of 1916 or its aftermath.
